Would you like to gain marketing experience and have a significant impact on a start-up company? Tech Unlimited are looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern to join our team.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a self-motivated individual with a creative flair to offer assistance, marketing know-how, and creative input to our team. Together with our Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will assist with implementing marketing strategies, updating our online platforms, and monitoring our social media platforms to help us achieve our goals. Alongside gaining marketing experience, you will get broad experience in how a business is run.
While experience within a marketing role is not anticipated, we expect you to demonstrate a passion for marketing and an eagerness to learn. Training will be offered by our Digital Marketing Coordinator, plus our Operations, Sales, and Commercial Directors providing the successful candidate with a rounded skill set. Help with general admin duties will also be required.

Through working with a variety of brands, we distribute a range of products into the education and B2B markets. Our product categories focus on areas such as protection, security, audio, and connectivity. Tech Unlimited sells its products through multiple resellers, bringing new business into new markets by building a lasting brand loyalty within the channel. Our warehouse is in Reading, UK.
✔ Creating marketing content using Canva or the Adobe Suite.
✔ Writing engaging copy and creating content for key marketing communications.
✔ Scheduling and monitoring social media content using Hootsuite.
✔ Maintaining and updating our website using WordPress.
✔ Assisting with our monthly e-newsletter.
✔ Participating in brainstorming sessions for the development of marketing campaigns and taking notes of meetings.
✔ Updating marketing collateral.
✔ Preparing promotional presentations.
✔ Carrying out administrative and data entry-related tasks, that maintain organised files for the team.
✔ Performing market analysis.
✔ Any other marketing or admin duties as required.
✔ Access to a laptop/computer with Microsoft Office and preferably the Adobe Suite.
✔ Degree in a marketing-related subject and/or demonstration of a passion for marketing.
✔ Creative-thinker, proactive, and enthusiastic approach.
✔ Demonstrated communication and creative skills.
✔ Ability to grasp new processes, procedures, and concepts quickly using initiative.
✔ Experience in design e.g. using the Adobe Suite or Canva.
✔ An eagerness to learn and coachability.
✔ Excellent verbal/written communication skills and great attention to detail.
✔ Strong IT literacy skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
✔ A team-working and collaborative approach to work.
